Live. Die. Hell, I just want to party.

I love neon shit. I'm not sure if it's my obsession with bright colors or all things that have an ability to glow, but neon signs are pretty much the coolest way to get a brief message across (aside from obscene hand gestures, but that's more action-based.)

Neon also happens to be my favorite element. Arsenic runs close, simply because you can poison people with it (just seems so organic, really) but neon is a definitively happier element.

I also like quotes. A lot. I have notebooks filled with my favorite quotes.

Therefore, a cool quote plus a neon sign equals this post.

My Lala. Wasn't she puurty?

Give the Prez a Pound

People are getting rather giddy about Obama's inauguration.

I just want him to get his ass in office and fix our broke-ass society, but I guess he does deserve a little celebratory dance as well.

"A beautiful and symbolic dance routine" proposes Congress? Complete with "spicy Latin tangos and urban hip-hop beats?" Oh my gowsh.

NOW I'm excited for Tuesday. I so do love those urban beats.

I Heart T.Magic

London-artist T.Magic sent me this today in the mail. Quite possibly the best gift I've ever gotten from an artist.

T.Magic boasts collectors such as Jay-Z and Kanye West...and now Katie Zuppann. sweet.

If you're not familiar with his work, get with it at www.artismyhustle.com

Even Steve Loves Shep

Here's Shep's official 15 minutes. I must admit, I'm really proud of him. Shepard is a rad guy, and still gets up on the streets.

Studio Crashing with Alex Pardee

I recently crashed my buddy Alex Pardee's studio. I love Alex because he's just about as weird and psychologically intense as I am. Except he makes cool paintings about it, and I attempt to write.

This mad talented artist was getting ready for his new solo show, Letters From Digested Children, which opened last Thursday at FIFTY24SF Gallery on Haight and Fillmore. The place was packed. Like, sardine status. But I was a happy sardine; because Alex totally deserves any and all recognition and success he's gotten.

Without further ado, stalk Alex with me now and peep the whole studio visit here.

Oh Shit.

This is just funny. My buddies from French creative studio 123Klan got a lil rough with their cellular device.
These guys are talented and funny...and maybe a bit aggressive. Oh merde is right. But hey, worth its weight in uhh…an extended phone warranty.
