We Have Band - You Came Out rad video

I love this video by We Have Band! Not only is the stop animation rad, but the creepy and thought provoking message behind the characters’ eyes and mouths never actually moving, but appearing to do so with the help of lots of face paint is great.
Apparently it was shot over 2 days and stop frame animated from 4,816 still images without a single moment of video footage.

Banksy Unveils Largest Project Yet: "Banksy Versus Bristol Museum"

There's a reason why everybody and their mother is talking about Banksy's new summer show at the Bristol Museum: it's fucking rad.
In true Banksy fashion, no one knew where or what Banksy would be showing in this latest. After a killer solo show in NYC last fall, he really took it up a few notches with the theme of animal captivity, which he introduced the world to in his "Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill" showing, to include human rights as well.
This show is different for a variety of reasons: most notably, it takes over the entire three floors of the Bristol Museum. Banksy was allowed to add his irreverent pieces to infiltrate other classics areas. He remembers to keep it light and fun (even adding a bong to a set of Victorian tea ware). The effect is really stunning.
I love that after all the notoriety and acclaim this guy's gotten, he still refuses to buckle under public desire to reveal his true identity. Plus, his work remains close to the heartbeat of the streets which bred the popularity of his stencil works in the first place.
See more photos here and my full write up on the show here.

Recession? aw, fuck it.
Homeless Advocate is Homeless Himself

This is so inspiring...it always astounds me how people that have had tough lives are looked down upon for situations often out of their control.
Eric Sheptock's blog is packed with info (and even great video content). Really frustrating how hard-working people like this can still remain homeless, despite their best efforts to get off the streets but he somehow manages to stay optimistic. I think all of the world would be better off we learned a thing or two from this man.
